1992 Civic CX hatchback.
Up for sale is a 92 civic hatchback. I just did an engine swap on it like 2 days ago. I got just the shell, no engine/tranny no wiring harness. Now it has a 1.5L D15B7 (102hp 98trq) better than the stock engine that comes on 92-95 CX's 1.5L D15B8 (70hp 83trq). this car is already wired for VTEC. as all 92 civic's were pre-wired for VTEC. and the engine wiring harness that's on it right now, is from a 93 civic EX. No check engine light.
The bad:
it has been lowered with factory cut springs.
right hand side CV axle boot is torn.
both L & R lower ball joins are bad.
there is some damage behind the right fender and headlight core support.
and it has lots on bondo by the gas lid.
I'm asking $900.00 OBO.

Sure you can drive the car back to tampa. The engine that's on it now, doesn't seen to smoke, or burn any oil. I got the motor for free, because I help a friend install a D16Y8 in to his CRX. I remember he changed the spark plugs, it has got new NGK wires. water pump and Timing belt. I only changed the rear main seal, because it was leaking oil trough there.
Yesterday I drove it to a town that's about 86 miles back and forth. I went and got a better hood for free. It drove fine all the way, and back. But there was two problems: the speedo will stop working when you come to a stop. then when the car star moving again. it doesn't work right away. It will take a while before it works. another thing is the turn signals don't work either. I've checked all fuses, and they check out Ok. I didn't know any of these problems before. I just got the shell off of a trade.
