2001 Corvette Z06, 410 rwhp, navigation, iforged wheels, etc.
The time has come to sell my 2001 MY Z06. The car is truly a head turner, I think the sound it omits out of the exhaust is pure sex but it is time to pay off some credit cards. I have owned the car since 05 and am the 2nd owner. The car is a clean title and has never been in an accident.
The car dropped a valve a couple months ago. I had the motor rebuilt by RevXtreme (LS1 shop in tampa) and the car now puts down a very healthy 410rwhp and 370 lbs of torque. All the new parts are warranted for a year and RevXtreme warranties their labor for the live of the vehicle.
The car currently has about 74k miles on it but it is my daily driver so this number will continue to rise. The car shows great for its age/miles. The paint is in great condition with a minimal amount of rock chips. I did curb the front bumper but with the touchup paint it is hardly noticeable unless looked for. The interior is in great condition, no rips or tears in the leather. The car has navigation and a host of other aftermarket goodies.
Interior:
-Redline Goods Interior in carbon fiber with red stitching (shift boot, ebrake boot, console lid cover, door handles, airbag handle (not installed))
-Avic D1 double din navigation (unlocked so you can look up addresses while moving)
-CDT 6.5 components (tweeters installed in door pulls)
-Elemental Designs 12 inch subwoofer (in a box carpeted in oem carpeting to look factory)
-2 Kicker Amps (installed behind the seats, less then 3 months old)
-Passport X50 Blue Radar Detector (hardwired and custom mount, mount will also hold Valentine V1, will include if price is right)
-Silver painted gauge bezel rings
-Waterfall corvette emblem
Exterior:
-Specter Works Headlights (you will not find a better fitting set of SP headlights, I had them send me the clear covers uncut and then I hand cut them to fit the car to minimize gaps)
-HID low beams (6000k, you can now actually see at night out of the vette!)
-Carbon Fiber Driving Light Covers
-LED Halo Taillights
-18x9.5 and 18x11 I-Forged Flux 3 piece wheels, flat black centers (over 1100 each!)
-Brand new BFG KDW 265/35 tires in the front
-Brand new GY Supercar 295/35 tires in the rear
-Frame Savers and Rocker Savers
-Custom black and yellow corvette emblems
-Back bumper painted flat black on the bottom
-Tint
Suspension/Brakes:
-Bilstien Shocks
-All metal sway bar endlinks
-Lowering Bolts
-C6 Z51 Cross Drilled Brakes w/ caliper relocation brackets
-Ceramic brake pads
Performance:
-Hurst Shifter (have stock if you want it)
-Borla Stinger Exhaust
-FLP headers with high flow cats
-Vararam B2 Intake
-Ported Throttlebody (less then 500 miles)
-LS2 timing chain (less then 500 miles)
-High Performance oil pump (less then 500 miles)
-Comp Cam 224/228 .588/.588 114 LSA (less then 500 miles)
-ARP Rob bolts (less then 500 miles)
-A&A Corvette 5.3l port and polished heads (cleaned up less then 500 miles ago)
-LS7 lifters (less then 500 miles)
-ISKY Dual Springs (less then 500 miles)
-RAM Powergrip HD clutch (less then 500 miles)
-Spec Aluminum Flywheel (less then 500 miles)
-Custom Tune (drives like stock, no bucking, still gets 28 mpg on the highway)
-Underdrive Pulley
-MSD plug wires
Security:
-Viper 791 Alarm
-Remote Start (with toggle switch under the dash to turn the feature off/on)
-Automatic windows up and down
-2 way paging
-Pops the trunk, turns on dome lights, etc
Issues:
-The scuff on the front bumper that I talked about earlier
-Security light is on, on the dash. This is due to the key mechanism no longer can read the resistor on the key, I am hoping to have this fixed sometime soon by bypassing this as the alarm already does so. I just sort of got used to the light.
The car runs great right now but the rebuilt cost me $4700 and that is a tough pill to swallow when not expected so I need to reassess my financial situation. The car is beautiful inside and out and will turn heads everywhere it goes as well as perform like the best of them. I am not that good of a driver but I don’t see why this car is not a mid 11 second car with the right driver.
Price $30,000 obo
Onto the pics…
I will upload motor and interior pics tomorrow
