FS/FT 87 LT1 RX7 project
The car:
1987 RX7 Model? Has the 5 lug hubs and 4 piston front brakes.
body is straight except a dent near the 3rd brake light
Inside is gutted, no wiring, no interior
Front frame rails are C notched to fit f body radiator
Sunroof was sealed up by previous owner, can be made to work again if you get a whole unit to install
Missing drivers side outer door handle
Has S5 dent free fenders, front and rear bumper with fog lights, and flat aluminum hood.
Car is black, front clip is red.
Engine, 1994 LT1, removed from a running Z28, has new oil pan, mains and timing gaskets. T56 6 speed with good condiditon stock clutch, flywheel freshly resurfaced. Needs a starter and optispark, used it on another engine 120k miles
Engine is currently mounted in the car using a new grannys engine and transmission crossmember. Have a 4th gen f body radiator support which was carefully removed to weld into the c notch in the frame allowing use of the relatively large radiator, large condenser, and great dual fans the 4th gen f body's were equipped with.
The car needs a dash and wiring of course, a driveshaft, cooling system, shifter and exhaust, fuel pump / lines, and an a/c delete idler or working compressor.
$2800 cash or a worthwhile drivable trade, only fs till this weekend then its getting parted out.
