FS: 1999 Ford Contour SVT 235fwhp
It is time for me to move on to something new. The reason I am selling the car is because I am done modding it, and am starting to get bored. I need something new to play with and mod. I have done everything I want to do to this car short of a 3L engine swap or turbo system. It is in excellent mechanical shape, and ready for a new owner. I am a big believer in preventative maintenance. Oil changes performed religiously with Mobil 1 and Motorcraft filter ever 3000 miles. The new owner gets records and receipts for mods and maintenance. Never abused or taken to the track. Only raced from a roll once, and beat an S2000. I really baby this car.
Aesthetics: OEM carbon fiber hood Tinted tails tinted windows hightowered headlights (painted the inside of the headlights black.) There may be other modifications that I am forgetting. Feel free to ask any questions about other modifications or anything else about the car. PM me with questions or requests for more pictures. Car has 117,000 miles on chasis, and about 87000miles on SVT motor (the previous owner had the motor changed under warranty at about 30k miles). Problems: Could use a paint job, It doesn't look real bad it is just an older car. A new paint job would make this car a 10. I currently rate it as a 7 or 8, because everything works, but the paint is not perfect. The car makes 180fwhp without nitrous and 235fwhp on a 75 shot of nitrous This is on a mustang dyno (they read a little lower than dynojets). I have only gone through two bottles of nitrous in over two years, so I don't really use it much. The car should be making more power, because I got some new tunes from warmonger. I haven't had a chance to dyno it again, but it feels faster. I am asking 7000obo. No lowballers please, but I am open to negotiations. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...t/DSCF0101.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...t/DSCF0102.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...t/DSCF0103.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...t/DSCF0104.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...t/DSCF0105.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...t/DSCF0106.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...t/DSCF0111.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...t/DSCF0108.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...t/DSCF0109.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...t/DSCF0110.jpg |

Here is a picture for reference with the bottle in the trunk. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...t/DSCF0143.jpg The photos with the HIDs and fogs also demonstrate what the car looks like waxed. I decided to post pics after a wash and before a wax, so that you could get a better idea of what the car looks like without any kind of blemish cover up. As you can see in the HID photo, the car cleans up really nice, and the paint looks great if you give it a good detailing. |
