Built motor runs and drives smooth but, needs a turbo kit to be able to run right, person who had the car before me had a turbo kit on it but then took it off and sold the car to me as is, i was going to put a turbo on it, but now just want to get rid of it because i have other priorities now

So this car needs a turbo to run right? sounds pretty fishy to me..maybe somone didnt install the motor right and it doesnt run the way it should..

well lmk i would need to see the car, but i have a 98 civic ex with a 00 si front, it has little things like exhaust, drilled and slotted front and rear rotars, si seats, no a.c., no power steering, 5spd, lowered, custom exhaust, gun metal/bronze paint, etc. lmk if you like the description, hit me up with a pm

i was told it was the low comp pistons that slows the car down, since it has no turbo. it has ecu hacked, looks like dsm injectors too, there was a turbo on this car, and it needs one to run right, it just has no top end power right now, the car runs fine, no shaking, or oil leaks or anything, i was going to put the turbo on myself, but some other things have come up and im not going to have the money to do it, also if the price is right i can throw in a greddy boost gauge, cheap intercooler, piping, and turbo xs type s bov.
