Default 1993 Fd Rx-7

Posting this up for a friend:

1993 Vintage Red R1 with 68,800 original miles on chassis, 19,000 on Mazda Remanufactured engine and rebuilt stock twin turbos. A/C needs to be charged. Other than the A/C, it is mechanically sound.

Engine, turbos and ACT clutch were all installed by Pettit Racing in West Palm... they’re known for being one of the best FD shops in the country. It was done right.

Power and reliability modifications:
Fluidyne radiator
Pettit AST
3” down pipe
3" resonated mid pipe
HKS Hiper cat back
RX-7.com ECU (I’ve been told it is the same unit as the Pettit Unlimited ECU)
Pettit Intake
FC Thermo Switch

Suspension, brakes and wheels:
Tein Flex coilovers with EDFC uninstalled at the moment
MR rear toe links
MR rear lower arms
Brembo stock replacement rotors
Axxis Metal Master pads font and Hawk HPS pads rear
Flat black painted calipers
Stock FD wheels with good Michelin tires in stock size 225/50/16

Exterior:
'99 Spec Front Lip
'99 Spec Rear Adjustable Wing

I am not going to lie. Plain and simple, the exterior needs paint. There are 4 door dings, one on a front quarter panel, one on a rear quarter panel and two in one of the doors. They are only minor dings and I will more than likely have the paintless ding removal guy take them out soon. There is also a small scrape on the front bumper (done by the previous owner) that I have taped off and sprayed over as it was showing the yellow innards of the bumper itself. To make it perfect, it would need to be filled and sanded before the paint job. Overall, the car is very straight. No accidents per Carfax.

Interior:
Momo Race Steering wheel
Momo Hub
JVC CD/MP3 head unit
Polk Audio replacement speakers
Kenwood 4 channel amp
Subwoofer coax already run to rear
AutoMeter Boost gauge
Dual A pilar gauge pod... one's blank.

It’s a 1993... 14 years old. The soft coating on the plastic trim is scratched in the normal places... radio bezel and A/C knobs. The R1 seats have one cigarette burn in each from the lovely previous owner. The carpet and floor mats are in good shape. Dash looks good but the dash vents are starting to show their age. They are not cracked but they are warping from the sun and probably will crack if forced back even with the dash. Still typical for a car this old.

It’s an awesome car. I have run it at a few Track Days at Gainesville Raceway and have consistently been in the Top 3 fastest times of the day. It is very quick around the track. I have only made 2 passes down the drag strip. The first was a shakedown run around 13.6 @ 102 and the second was a 13.1 @ 107. With an upgraded intercooler, it should be a consistent high 12 second car.

I would keep it but I have the another FD I want to work on again and I want something more comfortable as a daily driver.

Bump for a clean car. If you need any help on removing the dents and touching up on the bumper let me know as our shop does paint and body work. Thanks

John
