correct me if im wrong, how do you get 80k on the car, and 40k on the motor? do people just put that so it makes the motor look better? im just asking cuz im interested and have 9k, i just dont understand if the car is stock why would there be 40k on the motor, what did you do blow the engine and stuck another one in?

Why do you have a different motor? My friend has an 03 civic sedan with 57,xxx miles and it runs like it came right off the lot!

Nobody here has ever thrown a rod? Car threw a rod 2 years ago driving on I-4 back from Tampa to Orlando therefore the car and old motor at the time had 55K miles on them... therefore after putting in a remanufactured motor from Honda that had 15k miles on it was dropped in and has run fine ever since. I have all receipts from when the blown motor was taken out and new one dropped in... basically you have a slightly older car, with an even newer motor...

and yes, the thrown rod did not happen just because.. the old motor was dropped into a lower gear and over-revved early in its life.. which was jeeez when i think about it.. 4 years ago, i was still in high-school.. so the motor was a ticking time-bomb to go for about 2 years till it finally did just give out.

But again... remanufactured motor has about 40K miles on it now and runs like a champ, never had any mods on the new motor besides the AEM intake currently on the motor right now...

just curious because I own the same car, what kind of springs or coilovers are you using? and is the ride comfortable or a little bouncy if so.
