Back For Sale! Ae86 $900 Take It
SOLD
Alright, I traded for this car a while back thinking I would like it and I just dont have the resources to get it where I want it. Im more of a Nissan guy anyway. . .
I was taken when I did this trade by a little fucker who told me it was a GT-S.
It is not. It is an 84 SR-5 conversion. It has the GT-S engine and drivetrain, oil cooler, rear end, disc brakes, seats and gauge cluster. There may be a few more things from a GT-S but I dont know what they may be. All I know about Hachis i learned online, and that aint saying much. So the price has been dropped, first one with all cash up front takes it.
Titled as a 1984 Toyota Corrolla. Hatchback body, no sunroof. Rear interior stripped. Had a lot of body work done to remove as much rust as possible. Some still exists on the inside of the hatch and inside the hood but everywhere else is pretty clean. Its still primered and I was in the process of spraying it flat black, but clearly I havent finished. . .
The spare tire well in the trunk has been removed and there is a piece of sheetmetal to go over it, but i havent got around to finding a welder to finish it up. The body still does need some attention as it is not perfect, but its about 80% completed. The rear reflectors have also been removed. Needs glass seals and finishers. Headlights work no problem and the car iteslf is very strait. No signs of any accidents of any major kind. All doors and latches line up perfectly.
The suspension is a bit rough, cut springs in the rear with AGXs (or some other name brand part, I blanked, sorry). The fronts are adjustable spring perches (some call them coilovers, i dont) and stock, very blown shocks. I just put brand new Falken tires on mix-and-match JDM wheels. P/S system has been removed, as have the climate controls.
The Engine runs well. No signs of any kind of internal failure. The exhaust manifold is cracked and leaks to all hell and the exhaust is some rice-canister. Aside from that the motor runs real well and revs smoothly to redline with no problem. There is a check engine light on, but I'm pretty certain that would be the massive exhaust leak. Aside from the exhaust the engine is stock. This also has the OEM oil cooler as well.
So all in all im asking $900.
I attempt to be as honest and strait-forward as I can, so If you don't think its worth it or your "buddy got one for $.03 last week in better condition", well, I dont care. Please keep that to yourself and move along. I could Maco this thing and try to pass it off as really good condition, but its not. I know that and now you know that. If you dont like Honesty thats your own moral issue.
Well, enough of the Yap, heres some (blurry-ass) photos.

Just a few notes. Please read the post before asking questions like, 1)How much? 2)whats under the hood? and my favorite, 3)whats wrong with it?
You will recieve no less sarcastic answers as: 1)read jackass, 2)A motor, 3)read jackass.
And for those who do have a well thought-out question (one of the few ive had so far), the answer is: Im located in St. Petersburg.
Another good question is: Will i take $500? Most of the time Im unresponsive to lowballer offers. However, i will take $500 if you bring your own wheels and tires. Those wheels are at least $250 a pair from say, JDM market, and the tires are brand new, less than 25miles on them and they where $300 plus labor to mount and balance (i got to pay myself something.) So yes, I'll take $500. But you cant take the wheels for that because I think $900 for a running GT-S conversion is a freaking steal.

pm me your number, I'm getting a hefty bonus and income tax so I can take this off your hands once I look at it.
