hey, I'm looking for a clean 240 z or 280z. i need a daily driver, so it doesnt need to be perfect, but I don't want another project like my camaro. with that being said, color doesn't really matter, preferebly stick. i'll go with a turbo IF it's not a stock turbo that came on the car. I don't care if the car is original, i'd actually prefer one with a few mods. thanks!

im not trying to be dick, when i said reasonable price im not talking about a 1000 dollar car here, im willing to pay for a car. i grew up on these cars till i was 16, both car we had were gorgeous and never had anything more then a normal car issue. tires, battery, etc. i want a daily driver, but not a show car, is that any better?

 

just saying these old Z's arent dailys at all.

yea the one with the bmw blue paint? i remember. i ain't looking for anything like that lol. sorry to hear that you had problems with these cars. never heard of one other then the 260z and the turbo cars ever really having issues. unless people beat the hell outa them. but that goes for any car.

 

nope selling my green Z. its alittle more done up.
i dont really have problems with them, there just not good daily drivers.

 

well, like i siad your the first i've ever heard saying that. my dad was a master mechanic and specialized in the z series. he barely ever saw them in the shop. and i've been talking to a bunch of adults, who grew up on these cars, all tell me they never heard of them being known for issues other then rust. hell our 280zx was in our family for 16 years and the worst thing that ever happened was the tranny needed rebuilt. we had 237 thousand miles when we sold that thing and it still ran the same it did. drove it to disney god. litterly hundreds of times. never towed once.
