Ok found out a few things today and would like to share this story in full so this way any potential buyers understand. This Tahoe belonged to a riding buddy, he passed away while on his bike back in Sept. His mom needed help with the funeral and I really didnt have the money to spend to help, but I knew he owned this Tahoe, So I told her id buy it from her. I did a nada/blue book on the truck and they range from 5-6k, So I was cool, I can give her at least 4 grand and be able to flip the truck and just make my money back and maybe a small profit if not oh well. So I agreed to buy it, only to sell it. I rode in the truck b4 and rode in it again and inspected it to the best of my knowledge to be sure of the trucks mechanical abilities were up to par. Then I Posted the truck on here and a few other sites for sale before I bought it and seen a few people that were interested in it, so I went ahead & Gave her the money and took the truck to my house later on that week. Well Come to find out the truck has a rebuilt title and was hit once upon a time. I believe on the pass side rear. The work that was done was damn near perfect and I couldnt tell where and had someone that knew about these trucks come over and tell me the "frame was perfect" and the work was good, but showed me where the car he thinks was hit (which I couldnt find and im pretty mechanically savvy). The truck still drives great and there hasnt been any issues with it. If i knew the truck had a rebuilt title, I maybe wouldnt have helped her, but the situation at hand where she has no where to turn, I guess I didnt see it for a reason & god only knows why i didnt pay any attention. Anway Im selling to break even, but since the title is now shown to be rebuilt. $3500 on the truck I think is a good price, please dont ask to go any lower cause loosing $500 bucks is already bad enough. The truck isnt wrecked or a POS or Lemon, its mechanically sound, reliable, and needs nothing. Its a good truck and looks good in person. Everything that was described before is true. Need it sold though, have to put this money back in the bank before the wife stabs me. Someone come check it out you wont be dissapointed. This truck is for someone that is looking for a good car to DRIVE and USE.
