Here is my situation.

i need a decent car, one that, at the least, will last me a good 12 months.

needs to be about 2000 bucks. needs to run, drive well. does not need to look like a showroom car. needs to have working heat/air cond. and a working drivers power window.
2 door/4 door, dont matter.
V6 highly preferred, V8 is no questions asked OK, 4 banger...case by case basis. 3 banger...fuck no.
stereo does not need to work, i already have one....but the speakers do need to work

the car cant be a midget shitbox, it has to have some room in it and some substance to it....I.E: no geo metros, etc.

GM vehicles...NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!
Chrysler vehciles...NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!! (too easy to steal, too commonly stolen)

if someone has a car that they are willing to part with around Nov 8th timeframe that would be perfect. (thats when ill have the $$$)
if someone has a car that is more money (say 3K) and is willing to take a good portion of down payment and accept like 2 or 3 payments to pay it off that would be fantastic!!

HERE IS THE CATCH!
i need to know by the 16th of october, and buy it when i get back from vegas on the 8th or 9th, something around that time frame
