1988 Chrysler Conquest TSI (rear wheel drive turbo)
$4000
1988 Chrysler Conquest TSI with 118,082 original Carfax certified miles. This is a non-SHP car but I have installed polished 8" front and 9" rear SHP wheels. Also has polished center caps to finish off the wheels. The car has original Fiji Blue paint in good condition. It is evident that this car has never been wrecked. All body panels line up nicely. Rear hatch could use an adjustment though which is common with these cars. Interior is in great condition with the perfect front bucket seats recovered in high quality cloth. Rear seats are original leather and in perfect condition. Everything works, including AC. AC blows extremely cold! All lights, gauges, door locks, sensors, switches, etc work flawlessly. Even the antenna goes up and down when you use the radio. Automatic transmission was fully rebuilt 20,000 miles ago (with receipt). The transmission shifts perfectly and motor runs flawlessly as well.
Balance shaft elimination kit, jet valve elimination kit, head gaket, accordian hose all replaced recently as preventative maintenance on the original engine. All new fusible links were replaced with new Mitsubishi ones. The wheels are flawless and were hand polished by me. Balance weights were put on inside of wheels so that no clip on weights were used on the outer lip. The wheel lips are perfect with no bends or curb rash anywhere! The tires are also new.
The car comes with the original rare CONQUEST front floor mats. The motor is basically stock with only a Blitz blow off valve installed and a manual boost controller set at 14 psi. There is a K&N lifetime air filter installed. Blue silicone vacuum hoses were installed in place of the old factory ones. Also an Autometer boost/vacuum gauge is installed in factory instrument cluster where the stock boost gauge was located. The factory pre-cat has been hollowed out and a test pipe has been welded in place of the catalytic converter. The windows have been tinted at 20%. A Kenwood Excelon CD deck has been installed with Eclipse speakers. The CD player has the "Mask" technology that folds the face of the CD player back into the radio for theft protection. A VIPER alarm system has also been installed with keyless entry. Brand new OPTIMA red top battery was also just installed. As with original paint, there is some fading on the front and rear bumpers as well as a few scratches in the paint here and there. There are also some door dings on both sides of the car. The front air dam is in great shape and is in one piece. There is one crack in the front air dam that has been repaired, and you can't see it if you don't know it is there. The paint is by no means perfect. I spent a bunch of time using a clay bar, waxing, and polishing the paint and it looks good for an 18 year old car. It really beads up when it is wet (see picture below) I am constantly being asked questions about the car when I drive it, and get complements when I take it out. There is one small rust spot before the left rear wheel. This is the only indication of rust on the car. The underneath is rust free as well as the rest of the car.
