91 Geo Tracker 4X4, 5 Spd
I purchased the tracker about 2 months ago. The guy said the clutch went out and put $600 into a new clutch and labor. About a day after he got it back from the shop it just stopped running and had it towed home. He didn't know why so he replaced the Distributor cap, button, plugs and plug wires. Then he was tired of fooling with it. I bought it from him wanting a daily driver. Found it was a broken timing belt, I replaced it and it started right up. But it was lacking power so I investigated it and found that the number 1 piston wasn't firing. I know the timing is still a little off so maybe thats all it is, I really don't know. Well now I am about to start college classes at night and don't have time to fool with it. It does run I drive it in and out of my garage (it is garaged). Someone with a little time and the mechanic ability may be able to put this tracker on the road or trail.

The Good
New complete clutch,
New Plugs and wires,
New Distributor Cap and Button,
New Soft Top (purchased around christmas),
New timing belt,
New timing belt tensioner,
New Fuel filter
New Alternator,
New alternator belt,
All lights work

The Bad
Needs timing adjusted,
Number 1 piston not firing (could be the timing?)
