Hey guys I just got rid of my car and I'm on the hunt for a GSX, has to be 98-99 as I dont like the other ground effects and outside of the older ones. Anyone know where I can find one with under 50k miles? Also looking for a bone stock or as close as I can get to it. Also was there any problems with the 98-99 GSX's seperate from other years? And what first 3 or 4 mods should I do? Be brandname specific as I dont know who makes the best quality parts for these cars. websites would help also... thx - Ryan

 

97's have the same bumpers you are thinking of, the 95's and 96's have the "smilely" style bumpers

trying to find that old of a car with less than 50k miles is going to be a mission from hell. Mine is a 99 with low miles and Im at 70k

 

you need to broaden your criteria. GSX aren't that easy to find in general. and you're looking for a certain year within a generation UNDER 50K miles and stock.. litterally a snowball's chance in hell. and shouldnt this be in buy/sell/trade/scam?

If you are willing to drive or have a car shipped and have the pocket full of cash, then you might be able to find one. As for the mods, research. Chech our own FAQ and also on buschur racing and dsmtuners all have mod paths, as does RRE. Basically though, boost gauge, fuel pump, exhaust, and an air filter to start.

From the prices Ive seen people have been asking like 10-12k for 97-99 GSXs.
