FS. 88 Supra Turbo 5spd.
i changed the hg. i lapped the block and had the head shaved. it has about 1k miles on it if that since i did the hg. the felpro is basicly a stock hg. the stock style hg do ok until u start overheating often. which even a metal head gasket would not matter due to head warpage. i have read several threads (supraforums) with problems sealing a metal head gasket. both surfaces need to be exact. so i chose to get a stock hg. if it lasted 150k miles before i dont have a problem with it.
aright this is going to change the cars price a bit. i was driving over the weekend on the howard franklin bridge and was just cruzin not paying attn. to the guages. well i felt the car sputter , and loose power. so i pulled over and it died, and couldnt get it to start again. i noticed the temp guage was on H, so looks like the waterpump went and took the hg with it. i changed the thermostat when i last replaced the hg. so that should be fine. i dont have the time to fix it right now. i just got 2 rx7s in my shop that need repair and they are pretty big jobs. so ill sell it the way it is. i guess ill start it off at 1800 obo. btw trades are welcome.
