yep it's a straight 6. it's no thing to see these motors with 250k on the odometer. this one has the newer style interior and all power options and comes with 190 hp stock.

True, these engines are actually pretty quick for a small SUV. Used to drive one, they do donuts like nothing Also VERY reliable and probably Jeep's best engine.

it is 100% the best motor jeep has ever produced bar none. and yes they are kinda quick for a mid sized suv. a small suv is an escape or a sportage you gotta give it more than that!!!!

4.0 is a great motor..I had a 93 wrangler with it...Couldnt kill it....

this is my 2nd one and not a problem out of either.

my first one was in a wrangler it had 150k and it would spin my 35's on dry pavement.

I had 32's on my 93 one time cruising through downtown philly with the doors /top off i was little tipsy chirping 2nd I sheared off the yoke for the back driveshaft.My mechanic said he never saw anything like it lol...

i had another 95 but this one had a 4cyl and it was on 32's. i took a left onto us 19 and the god damn passenger rear tire flew off with half of the axle still attached.

i guess i broke it when i was doing a little off road riding and it held out till the next day

i couldn't figure it out, but damn that was a little crazy the back right side of the truck dropped about 4 feet right away!
