Just got off the phone with Jeff at Cottman Transmissions in Oldsmar, where the work is being done. It will have either an OEM (BMW) replacement clutch, or an OEM-style replacement clutch from Bavarian Auto Sport, which includes new clutch disk, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, rear eangine seal, pilot bearing, all transmission seals, exhaust gaskets, pivot pin. The flywheel will be resurfaced and the slave cylinder replaced.

The engine runs very strong as confirmed by Jeff at Cottman.

Car should be done Monday or Tuesday and will be available for short test drives, as the car is not insured at the moment (has been sitting for a few months). It does have good tags, though.

The Low Retail value for this BMW is $2,625. You're getting it for less than half that. In other words, this is a pretty good deal.

The price ir $1,000, or best offer. I do believe $1,000 is a very fair price, considering I am spending over half that for just a new clutch.

Clutch from Bavarian Autosort will be here on Thursday and car should be done on Friday.

If it doesn't sell soon, my father is, most likely, going to get it painted -- probably white.

Clutch arrived Thursday but flywheel is at the machine shop still. Will, hopefully, be done Monday, Tuesday at the latest.
