FS:87 gt
This is my friends car......
hey i`m finally selling my `87 GT conv. for me it just needs more money to fix it up then what i got. so heres a little info on it:
A 1987 mustang GT convertible
*176,000 miles on it
* 5.0L w/ rebuilt AOD (yea i know..boo lol)
*`92 GT wheels and good tires (i saw about 85% thread still on the tires) wheels are painted black to match the car
-top needs to be replaced but the electronics and all the hydraulics work for it perfectly.
-body is in need of paint but no major bod work is needed. (theres a little rust around the antenna base as far as i know thats all the rust thats on the car)
-the steering column needs to be looked at - the starter switch might have to be replaced also the turn signal assembly has to be replaced.
-possibly needs a new steering rack and also i know for sure it needs a new inner and outer tie rod ends on the driver`s side (the person who owned the car before me must of hit a curb and the wheel is slightly out of place the alignment shop told me that the inner and out tie rod ends should fix that)
-the interior just needs to be fixed up a tad....the leather has the usual wear and tear and the passenger side seat looked like it was replaced before i bought the car
-as of this point the car does run a little rough every now and then not sure if it needs a tune up or if its something else.
mods:
-Mac performance CAI (filter is in the fenderwell)
-Ford racing gauges for the oil pressure and also the volts (both are mounted in the center a/c vents and the mounting plate also retains smaller vents for the a/c)
-Flowmaster series 40 cat back system
-Tinted headlights and GT fog lights from 50resto.com
-also has new bearings in the front hubs (just needs to be greased up again)
-brake rotors and pads and also wheel cylinders and the rear brake shoes were also replaced about a little over 9 months ago
-has also the console arm rest delete kit installed
-new speakers were put in the car nearly a year ago
-jvc head unit w/ remote
-a Sony Xplode 444watt amp
-new altenator
-new battery
-also mentioned before i had the tranny rebuilt when i got the car (rebuilt tranny and new torque converter)
-also i`m going to leave the chiltons manual and also a do-it-yourself manual from ford (hey it might help ya)
-Asking $2500 (basically i`m asking for what i just about put into the car lol) for everything and i`m selling it as is....the car has a clean title since i have had the car it wasnt in any accidents or anything.
