1994 Turbo Ranger
Well as much as I hate to do it I have decided that I am going to get rid of my 2.3 turbo ranger.
First for the truck itself:
It is extended cab with a two tone red and silver paint scheme. Needs some love but it is a truck and I have used it as such. It has a bed liner, 17" Mustang GT wheels, from a 97 I believe with 95% of the tread remaining.
The interior is in very good condition with new carpet and seats from an explorer. It has a panasonic cd player. It has an autometer tach, a/f and boost gauge mounted in the dash vents. Also it has a rear sliding window.
Now for the good stuff:
New motor with less than 5k miles on it. Std bore, std bearings, all stock specs. Brand new casting head with a ranger roller cam in it. The truck is set up right now at a very conservative boost level of 9 psi and does really well. New clutch with less than 5k on it. T-5 tranny shifts perfect. Has a 2 1/2" downpipe out to a 3" exhaust. New t-3 turbo and stock location intercooler.
The rest of the drivetrain has been worked over as well. The rear is a 3.73 out of an explorer with limited slip. The driveshaft has new u-joints in it. New shocks on all 4 corners and a set of 4wd springs in the front to level out the ride height.
With the new turbo that truck is ready to go. My g/f drove it everday with no issues other than puffing smoke due to the bad seal on the turbo's exhaust side. With a little work and some tuning this truck should do really well.
Now for the reason I am selling it. I need to get a car to pull behind a camper and something that has a/c. Not really interested in trades.
Asking 4500.
Thanks
Lee
