5 grand FIRM, no lowballing on this one, the frame is good, as is everything else except the front forks, it really needs a front end for the bike w/ triple tree, the exhaust pipe is bent, it needs left and right plastics, and upper fairing, radiator, and other little parts. Engine is good, the neck on the frame is good as is the frame itself. There is no negotiation with this price. The frame alone is worth 4 grand, clean title w/3800 miles.

 

Will you garauntee the fact that the frame is within factory specs and completely clean or you will buy it back?

 

no I won't......I know that the frame is not cracked or bent though. You have every right to inspect this bike at your discreton, if you find something that I didn't mention then you tell me. I feel as that I have thouroughly went over this bike and if you find something that i missed then we can discuss it from there. The price is still the same though. Thanks

Reason i ask is that there is no way for "anyone" to be able to tell what condition the frame is in. The front end isn't even on it. Without certain axis points there is no possible way to decern what geometry that bike has when put back together. Therefore how can you claim it straight when all you did is "look" over it? And don't say because you know what you are doing, you know what to look for, you've done this 1000 times: Because anyone that is truely a professional, and dealing with bikes/frames, would know better than to make such a claim.
Good luck on finding a buyer, but you probably should toss that one on ebay and hope for the best.




To anyone looking at this. Please understand there is absolutely no way to even guess how straight this frame is without having a straight and undamaged front end on it. This bike needs way more than 4K in work, so buyer beware.

 

you are right there is no way to tell, but judging from the fall that the bike took, and the story from the owner you can pretty much determine what is bent and what isn't. alot of the cosmetic things took the damage and not the frame. I will get better pictures so that you can see this alot better than now. My r6 was mangled twice as bas as this and my fram was good. I can't determine that to mine either so there really is no need on me saying this. Buyer do what you like, this bike IS WORTH 5 grand all day. Take any precautionary measures that you need to ensure that this bike will be good for you. BTW TAMPAMAX, are you even interested in the bike or did you want to put your 2 cents in??

for 4gs more somone can get a bike under warranty and in great never laid down condition....this makes yours worth a fuck load less then 5gs cause your bike needs wayyyy more then 4gs worth of parts especially since like tampamax said, the frame is more then likly bent....

 

yeah......ok I must be born yesterday. I forgot that I do this all day, and people on here don't really know things sometimes. The bike WILL be sold today for 5k, to a guy in Lehigh Acres.

That is like me saying, that Bose system, that you are selling really isn't worth it. It really isn't when you can get a brand new unit in the box for like 900 more. Yours is used and we really don't know the problems with it now do we. That is why you check things out before you buy them. If someone offers you 700 dollars for that Bose unit, then I think that you should take it. So really I think that you are selling that a little to high, in my opinion.

 

LOL, I think you have lost it man...my system is under warranty, its not some wrecked bike that I am claiming to be in ok shape...its a home theatre, dont talk shit till you can compare apples to apples aj...but the bike your selling is 5gs and needs at LEAST, like i said, at LEAST 3gs worth of parts and labor so that right there is only 1,000 less then a new bike with a warranty...funny how its always supposedly sold after everyone says its a rip off...if u sell it so easy, why the fuck you even post it on here?
