Default 94 3kgt black on grey cloth (easy fix project) PRICE ADJUSTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Below is a cut and paste from another board i posted this on, but you get the idea.

REDUCED FROM 1,500 TO 1,200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is well worth the price, but i need the space more than the extra 300 bucks. This is the absolute rock bottom people i can go no lower than this. Next stop ebay.

94 GT/ DOHC/ 14x,xxx/ auto/ black on grey cloth.

Well, it looks as though the time has come to part with my nightmare. Unfortunately for me i have not have such a great experience with the Mistu line up. Rather than continue to let the car sit and wait for me to fix it i figured i would give someone on here a chance to put this car to better use.

The story is i bought this car and immediately left it with a mechanic to replace everything under the timing covers. Turns out he tried to pull a fast one by just replacing the belt, but charging me for everything else. However, he eff'd up the job and bent enough valves that only 2 cylinders have pressure now. I then send the car to another guy who promised he can fix it no problem, but after 9 months of waiting i had to go and pick up the car. The only thing he had done was pull the front head. So that's were it sits now....needing heads replaced. The rest of the stuff under the timming cover besides the timming belt could be replaced, but doesn't have to be.

The car has 14x,xxx miles on it with a nice straight body. And yes i have the turn indicators for the car...they're just not on it currently. The black paint was in excellent condition when i bought the car. It probabley still is, but one would need to give her a good wash, wax, and buff to bring here back to her original luster. I'll have that done for whomever buys the car before they pick it up. The interior needs attention to the rear seat backs and drivers bolster to be perfect. Its all there though...with the exception of a radio. All power acc work properly without showing any signs of wear through age. The a/c still blew cold before sitting for so long(don't know about now).

The rims are not in the greatest condition due to some minor curb rash here and there. All rims are still true, and all but one tire still holds air. The tires do have body shop dust on them but will clean up nicely with a wash. They all have good tread. As it stands now the car is not completely assembled. When i bought it i took the whole interior out to do a full clean up and to check for potential trouble spots down the road(<--Don't let that scare you, i do this to every car i buy) as i had intended to keep this car for a very long time. No worries cause everything is there and comes with the car. Most of it will be reassembled before the new owner comes to pick it up. This car is open for inspection just about anytime someone wants to come by.

Now for the most important part of the post...the price. Well, i try to be fair about everything i do as i live by the mantra that everything you say are do will come back to you. Being that this is a relatively easy fix for someone who willing to turn a wrench, and the fact that it will be worth some nice coin when its repaired; i would like to see 1,500 for it. I feel that leaves the new owner a comfortable "oops i didn't see that coming" cushion for the unexpected. I just don't want to see someone end up in the same position i'm in. I.E. paying to much for a car that needs work. The 1,500 will give someone a decent car at a more than fair price. With a little bit of elbow grease they will still come out ahead of the game, and have a nice car to drive on top of that. *I will work very diligently with the buyer on shipping the vehicle if neccessary. Meaning if need be i will trailer the car to a pick up depot. All i would need would be money to cover the cost of a tow dolly rental. However, realize it is ultimately the responsability of the buyer to set up the details through the shipping company.

Everyone please understand that i am a very busy person without a lot of time to spend lurking this site. Please give me a reasonable amount of time to respnd to all your requests. If you want you can email me at varium78@yahoo.com for a quicker reply. Just put 3kgt somewhere in the subject line please. If you don't, more than likely it will go to the junk/spam pile. And last but not least....i know this is covered more times than not, so its nothing new to us. I figure i will cover all the bases just in case. PLEASE do not waste my time or yours with rediculous and low ball offers. I am however open entertain all ideas for trades. Just be sure the item you want to trade is worth more than 1,500, or you are willing to throw some cash in to even the deal out.

IMPORTANT CAVEAT: Please do not ruin my thread by trying to give your opinions about what you think of my car, the way i'm trying to sell it, the angle at which its parked in the photo's, etc. If you have no "serious" interest in the car then please be polite enough to not mess up this thread. **If you want to pay only 500 bucks for the car that means you are not interested.**

Thanks for looking.

Feel free to PM me to take a look at it. Need it gone with a quickness. Keep in mind this would make an unusual race car or a great investment to double or triple you money with little work. If your a mechanic all the better. Lord knows the few that have been under this engine down know jack shit.

Are you sure the bottomend is good? Usually when valves hit the piston, the pistons take a shit. I might be interested in it if you still have it for sale in a couple weeks
