bump for a fellow turbo ford owner. very unique cars. i own a 1986 SVO. only thing that merkur needs is an intercooler. they were non-intercooled from the factory. it'll need a FMIC installed maybe a home made volve design. i have a NPR in mine

 

nah, only if you really wanna turn up the wick on it. And I actually happen to have a Isuzu NPR AfterCooler... We just did a swap on a Flatbed NPR a couple weeks ago. Poor guy wanted us to put a 305 in it. It runs, but its slower than dog shit sliding downhill!

 

Rales has a real nice Merkur, ust look at his for the potential these engines have!!!!!
