TESTING WATERSL 91 RX7 Turbo modded.
Well, after owning this car for about 6months and working on it im thinkin i made a mistake leavin the honda scene.
I got the car back in July... I bought it originally as an N/A with a seized motor. I swapped out the motor and the full drivetrain for a T2 motor.
The car is a Black 1991 Mazda RX7.... 162,959 miles on the chassis, and on the T2 motor I was told that it had about 33k miles on it. Perry at Rotary Performace where its at right now ran a compression test for me... the front rotor has 112 compression, and the battery was dying when doing the rear rotor and i believe it only read like 89 or 90, but it would be higher if the battery was fully charged.
Ive never driven the car yet as everytime ive gotten that close to drive it something else needs to be fixed. Right now its a a local rotary shop called Rotary Performance. Its got an oil leak and getting new injector clips wired up and new injectors because im too lazy too work on it anymore after all the hours ive put into it.
The modifications are as follows:
S4 Block
S4 Tranny
S4 I/M's
S4 Turbo
S5 TB
S5 Front cover
S5 OMP
T2 Rear end
Johnny Race Car FMIC
Racing Beat downpipe
Racing Beat Presilencer
Apex'i N1 Dual Exhaust
Apex'i intake filter
Walbro 225 in-tank
Greddy Auto Timer
Greddy Profec B Spec-II
Autometer Cobalt series Boost gauge
Autometer Cobalt series A/F Gauge
Greddy Shift Knob
15" MOMO Arrows
Right now theres no intercooler piping for the FMIC so the stock TMIC is on there, theres no T2 hood though, i was gonna drive around with no hood for a few days til I got IC piping made up. If you would like, I could get you a T2 hood for a little extra$$$ but the hood is yellow.
What I would really love to do is just trade the car straight up for a K20 swap because thats what i plan on doing to get back in the honda world
... if anyone is interested let me know.
oh yeah, also... I still have all the old N/A Parts in my garage too that I could include. old n/a engine, tranny, driveshaft, rear end and a bunch of little things laying around
