Ted i hope you researched what that car is actually worth. It appears you may be off by a dollar or two.

FYI, 2k and 01's are going for less than that with around the same milage. Considering these engines will last indefinately it would be a big deal to get one with 100k on it and save even more money.

I really hope you get that much for the car, but i think you are being way to optimistic and setting yourself up for disappointment after disappointment.

He'd be extremely lucky to get that. I'd say he will be fielding offers in the 5k range. If the car is mint and he gets the right buyer he may be able to get 6-6.3k for it.

I understand that I am asking a lot for this car. My thought was to aim high at first and then come down if necessary. I really don't think I'll get what I'm asking either, but I figured why not try since I'm not working on a timetable. I did do the research (I used edmunds.com instead) and found that for private sale I should ask ~$8200. Here are some other people who are asking as much as (or more than) what I am and their cars don't have all the options that mine does.

I appreciate you guys' input though... but I still think you're comparing apples with oranges. However, I'll be bringing down the price shortly. Also if anybody is still interested in the car for what it is I will entertain all offers.

Thanks,
J.R.
