As the subject says I am looking to buy an older civic a beater. Meaning less than $1000. All that I require is that it have a strong engine/trans. Paint/body damage does not matter too much. It must be legal and driveable. I have a 1990 camaro rs 3.1 v6 (Beater)for possible trade. I would really like to get rid of this car and get a civic. The only real problem with the camaro is a possible fuel pump or injectors. It can be driven but it will take some time to get anywhere. The car is an automatic......I think the starter went today so I will be changing that out. I just put in wires/spark plugs/new battery. Still no clue whats wrong with it. It will need a new front right fender, bumper, possible hood, paint job, and the interior is pretty much trashed.
