2002 Ford Focus ZX3 power premium
21k miles, mint shape inside and out. 2.0L ZETEC engine.
Factory stuff:
pitch black color
black interior
sunroof
5 speed manual
16" aluminum allow wheels
6 disc in-dash cd changer
power premium package includes keyless entry, power windows/locks/mirrors, console, cruise control, leather shifter etc.
Dealer installed stuff:
Ford HID headlights (Mach audio edition)
auto headlights (w/ daytime running)
intermittent wipers
Very nice daily driver car gets awesome gas mileage. Very fun to drive. Selling to buy a new Dodge Ram.
Book is $8,865.00
All the dealer installed stuff is worth about 1,000.

I have an 01' with the same stuff yours has option wise, but mine also has the dealership installed ground effects, wing, and tint. Mine also has a remote start with roll down windows. Also has a 1000watt stereo system, and I'd be happy to get $4500 for it, I'm thinking I'll end up selling it for around $3500... I think your fixing to get a good lesson in " ford" just like I did. I'll never buy ANY ford car again ( maybe truck ).

I saw a clean yellow crx sell for $3500 the first day it was advirtised in the autotrader... I personally wouldn't pay that much, but aparently they are getting that much for real clean ones..
I'm not even going to comment on the FORD focus reliablitly, but I like the looks, love the handling, like the interoir, but the reason its gone as soon I can "get what I owe" is b/c it can't go 3 months without something dumb breaking on it, and of course Ford says " the extended warrenty doesn't cover that" and then they charge me $80 to change my coolant... I hear the 02'+ focus is much improved in the reliabilty area, but I'll never buy one again.

Thanks. The 2000 & 2001 have all sorts of bugs, but the 2002 was much improved. I have yet to recieve a recall. I had a head sensor go bad once, but that's all.
Oh, to the guy who told me not to list book value and ask more with all the extras...sorry, I prefer to be completely honest. If it hurts me, oh well. I'd rather be completely upfront about everything.
