after blowing the head gaskget...
I had the head resurfaced and a valve job done and installed all new gaskets.

Im not good with timing so the timing is off still, but the car does run, with some smoke coming out of the exhaust

its a 5sp
and the tranny is good( no grinding) there are 165000 on the dash, but the engine has closer to 110,000 (not the orig. dash)

whats wrong with the engine? what dash is in the car now? is it the EG or EK? (i'm kinda a newbie still so excuse the stupidity of this question) how hard is it and how much is it to get the timing fixed? can you e-mail me some more pics at mrman920@mac.com. thanks
