Like the title says I'm selling a 1990 Subaru Legacy L Front Wheel Drive Wagon. It has 128,000 Miles. The car runs like a champ, no smoke cruises right along at 70mph.

What needs to be replaced/fixed

1)Driver's side marker light is missing
2)Electric motor that switches from dash to vent etc.
3)HVAC Control assembly works when it wants to and needs to be replaced.
4)Needs to be converted to R134a

If I fix these things before it's sold, I will want $1200 for it.

Truthfully, it's a fun little car even for a wagon. Handles quite well. We had it on the lift the other day and found out very shortly that it has a LSD as well. My friend was holding the tire thinking the other one would spin like an open differential, then I snapped the throttle and the tire he was holding spun out of his hands Thanks for the bump

How shitty is this?

Just for shits and grins I priced out a '90 Legacy with Progressive. It would INCREASE $150 every 6-months. Granted my car is an 18-year old 4-cylinder Mustang....but you'd think going to an old Subaru wagon would reduce my insurance, not increase my premium. WTF, mate?

Wonder if they put the wrong Legacy in? There were like 8 different Legacy models for that year

It was the correct one. I did the quote online. Based on different "beaters" I have quoted, nothing beats an 18-year old 4-banger Mustang...even if it is the highest performance/most expensive model of that year.
