I'm brand new to TR and I have a '85 Ninja 900R that I got as my first bike and I'm tired of it and REALLY want/need a newer bike. I'm looking for preferable an R1 or GSXR 1000. Please, if you or anyone you know is selling one of those bikes, or any nice bike (I'll look at any type of crotch rocket to see if I like it) PLEASE reply! I have some cash now, plus I can get about 1k for my bike from someone who wants to buy it but I cant sell it until I've got another one on the way (my only ride).

my buddy has a 95 ZX9R for sale. he's asking 3000, new tires, 1 messed up fairing, he works with me at a motorcycle dealer, he's taken care of the bike.
