I'm writing this hoping no one will get scammed. For all of you guys who are selling your cars on the net like autotrader.com or similar sites, please don't fall this scam. It happened to me, I didn't get scammed though. I thought I'd pass this on in case anybody's not aware of it, it's actually a well known Nigerian scam. Type up "Nigerian Car Scam" and search for it, read some articles on it.

 

I just received a fake cashier's check for $10000. They send it out through Fedex too. I think I'm going to waste some more of their money and say that the check was lost. I wonder how many checks I can get them to send.

 

i would watch it cuz you're liable for the check if you cash or deposit it. it will come back to you. i knew mine was fake so i checked with the bank and they confirmed it was fake. now i'm filing a police report to cover my ass and also working with secret services, trying to put a end to this before other people get ripped off.

 

ya they tryed doign it to my booy with his rx7
