tonite's adventure at 1320 turned out to be depressing i have just found out that the gear ratio and the tranny really matter in a honda my best run was a 15 sec. missing second gear and first gear wound out through almost 1/3 of the track on the new ys1 vs. the j1 running 14's on an entirely stock motor

yeah with the new tranny I can't seem to keep the tires from spinning when trying to drive, causing a lot of white smoke or when the engine is cold it runs really rich and spits out un-burnt gas in a type of white vapor that smells like fuel has been spilled on the car
