As long as you dont have to borrow over 5000.00 for it the law states that you dont have to have insurance on it. I have owned 2 of them and never had insurance on it. You can verify what i said by talking to Peggy at Cycle Springs. Just thought i would help

i know the whole over 5,000 insurance law, BUT if u go through a bank and get a motor cycle loan, even if its only a 2,000 loan they will make u have insurance on it or they will not give u the loan.
