Umm, who is providing the 5 year warranty on the JL subs? Here is the direct letter for us authorized dealers (also available at JL's webpage). Those woofers are only warrantied for one year and only for you, the original purchaser if purchased from an authorized dealer.

Not trying to bust your balls but since we are the only authorized JL Audio represented here (and have been for years), we get stuck with many "misled" TR members who bring in broke used equipment. I would just hate to see another TR member get mislead. Also, you are asking more than retail for this system. The 13W1's go for only $179.95 a piece retail (see JL's link below) and in stores:

That amp is not more than a few hundred dollars retail from Kenwood either. That box would run about $150 at any reputable shop with 3/4" mdf. You may want to reconsider price if you want this stuff moved. I would be in the $500 range max for that stuff used. And if you get that, you are doing great! Good luck with it though...

JL Audio products are warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship for the following terms:

Subwoofer Drivers: One (1) Year
Evolution Speaker Systems: One (1) Year
Enclosed Subwoofer Systems (incl. Stealthbox): Two (2) Years
Electronics: Two (2) Years


Please hold on to your sales receipt!
