This is not your ordinary subwoofer. Weighing in at nearly 75 lbs., with peak power handling at a staggering 10,000 watts, the Platinum Series WD subwoofers have been engineered with the competitor in mind. The foundation of the driver is the massive motor consisting of 340 oz. triple stacked magnets, 3 inch high temperature voice coils, and a ventilated motor assembly for cooling. The dual 2 ohm voice coil windings allow for flexibility in wiring low impedance configurations to harness and maximize the power of the Platinum Series amplifiers. An extremely rigid paper cone coupled with dual dampers maintain linearity and low distortion for the long throw travel of the driver. The rigid paper cone is glued to our new "High Roll Assembly" foam surround providing unsurpassed power handling and reliability.
