- This set-up is only 3 months old. I have never played it at full potential because i was breaking them in. I had them in an Explorer and i have recently purchased a new car and dont want the system anymore!!

how much for amp?

 

Are you sure its 3000w. I had two 15" cvr's with a 1200w kicker amp and it maxed out the subs. It seems like 3000w would blow 12's in a heart beat.

 

^it can be bridged out or tuned down, it could of also been pushing the 6x9s n door speakers

 

I have the speakers bridged, and no i have peaked out the power at all. i was in process of breaking them in because i take care of my shit and do it right! Yes it is a 3000W amp.

Reduced to $350 with a package of speaker wires!!

 

I just have one quick question, why would you have a 3,000 watt amp on subs that can only handle 150 watts rms, and 300 watts peak. It doesnt make any sense.

 

wow come on people its a 3000watt boss amp not mtx,or alpine its pushing about 250watts

 

ok mr. audio person! dont diss something you havent heard. he system is good. it hits hard and is crisp. i had a 600 watt mtx amp and it didnt push enough power for the speakers. so i had purchased the boss amp from a friend and since then it has sounded pretty good. the system hits harder then my buddys system and he has 2 12 infinitys with a 1000w infinity amp. spent a grand on it and i only spent $400. hmmm
