Pair of Eclipse 8710.4 10" Subwoofers, 4 Ohms, 400 Watts
paid $225 a piece 2 yrs ago will sell for $200 both. I am selling because I upgraded for the big dawg eclipse's.

sorry, i'm a wee bit of a noob at these things. what kind of amp would be needed to power 400w @ 4 ohms?
what does a sub sound like at 4 ohms? is it really clear? isn't bass supposed to be in the lower octave range, operating around 2 ohms? i think my kappa perfects are 4 ohms, but like i said, i'm a complete noob.

yeah deff. a noob lol.. each sub has a 4 ohm coil, so 2 subs drops that to 2 ohms which is what most amps are stable at.. so you need an 800 + watt mono amp that is 2 ohm stable.
