We are proud to offer a new line of clutch options for most asian import vehicles from Quantum Auto. Quantum is well known for the manual conversion kits and clutch kits for V8 Lexus engines. In conjuction with Quantum, Bold Performance is now offering clutch kits and options at special pricing for Tamparacing.

There are several options, so that you may put together the combination that will best suite your needs. There are three options available for pressure plates, and three options available for disks. We can also refurbish your old pressure plate and flywheel to accomidate the new Quantum Auto disk. (PM for detailed quote)

Each kit comes with a pressure plate, clutch disk, release bearing, pilot tool, and pilot bearing (if applicable).

Level 1 Kit

This kit is great for adding more holding power, but not changing the feel of everyday driving. Long lasting clutch that has crisp, smooth engagement, no chatter, and an OEM feeling clutch pedal and engagement.

Level 2 Kit

This kit is an upgrade from the level 1 kit by using Bronze Composite pucks attached with large rivets. This is a long lasting clutch, which provides better holding power for aggressive launching and driving characteristics. These specially formulated pucks has limited chatter, but do have a more noticeable engagement point. Add the sprung hub option for a less pronounced engagement point/chatter.

Level 3 Kit

This kit is for high powered cars that face the most extreme conditions. The disk is a 6 puck Feramic (Ceramic and Iron Mixture) with large rivets. This clutch is designed to take all the abuse the MR2 can throw at it. The specially formulated Feramic can handle continuous launching, and extreme driving conditions. It does not chatter, and has a more noticeable engagement point then the Level 2 Kit. The Feramic material can quickly wick
away temps up to 1600 degrees. We do not recommend using the sprung hub option on this disk, but it is available.

Options

Upgraded Pressure Plates

We can offer two additional Pressure Plate options for even more holding power, and a firmer clutch pedal feel. The Quantum 2200 lbs pressure plate is good for an additional 100hp or more of additional clamping, and the Quantum 2400 lbs pressure plate is good for an additional 150hp or more of additional clamping. The 2200 lbs has a noticeable firmer clutch pedal feel, and the 2400 lbs plate has probably the firmest clutch pedal feel on the market (similar to ACT Extreme PP).

Resurfacing / Refurbishing Service

If you have a pressure plate, or flywheel that you need resurfacing, bring them into us to get refurbished! Save some money! We can match these up with a new Quantum Disk and get it right back out to you ready to go!

Flywheels

We also offer Chromoly Lightweight Flywheels in various models. This is a one piece chromoly flywheel, the starter teeth are machined. Very durable flywheel that can withstand any abuse.

I ordered in some of these TRD style oil caps. They are billet aluminum, and have the rubber o-ring gasket. I have 2 of each color in stock and ready to ship. They are the screw on type, they fit any Toyota with this type. If I run out of colors, I will order some more and update once in stock. In the pictures, you may notice there is a film over the TRD logo to protect it that you can remove.
