Ok we are now getting our Butts kicked in the Chumpcar - Lemons races. IT seems that there is HP creep and we need more power.

So we need to be able to put a turbo on the car for abou $250. For those of you that dont know the Chumpcar series you only have a $500 car.
I have read that the 524 TD manifold can be fitted to work. I know Ebay also has them for sale.
I have a Volvo junkyard turbo.. We only will be running 6lbs of boost.
Also I have a set of the Mustang injectors and the correct ECU for this set up.

Constructive Ideas welcome.

 

I believe Revshift make a relatively affordable adapter for the stock exhaust manifold. I'm not sure of the price, though, and their site says they're not taking any new orders for manifolds right now. Looks like you've listed the 2 major options (524 and Ebay). I've heard bad things about the ebay ones (fitting) some fit, some apparently don't fit at all. Either way, they're going to take some work.

Make your own adapter or go to GoFast and get a quote, it shouldnt cost much to have one made up in mild steel.
