Got a 1991 318is. White.

Next month it's getting some body work and a total repaint

 

Just bought my 318is today.

 

I have a 1989 325i, located in Winter Haven.

 

Car looks nice man : D I like.

 

Geez, sorry I missed your question. Yes she's a 88 "super" eta with the "i" top end. Had a blast in DC with that car, now my BMW "Master Mechanic" brother is using/working on her for me. Possibly putting on a turbo and maybe a 5 lug conversion.

 

I inherited my 1984 318i...well, really I had to pay $1200 to get it out of the shop, and it became mine. My mother had purchased it new at Reeves Imports in north Tampa in 1984, and drove it for almost 20 years. She sold it to a friend of mine who then promptly trashed it. When I got it back in 2006, I started getting her slowly back into shape. My mother passed away in 2005, so it's a sentimental car for me. Obviously, it's not the greatest e30 if you're looking for quickness or even top end speed, but I still love the car. I bought Recaros out of an "is" model, and just had them reupholstered (they look great!). I'm thinking about having my mechanic do an engine swap to a newer 6 cyl 3-series motor. I'll never sell the car, so I'll probably play with it for years. It's my 5th e30. If anyone needs a reliable, inexpensive mechanic, I have a really good one. $30 an hour labor, and you bring your own parts. My upholstery guy is also very reasonable and does great work.

 

i have an e30 i live in the riverview, hillsborough county, tampa area. just moved here so def looking for some e30 buddies. i have an 86 325e. body is clean but i still need to do some work. im looking for MAD parts, in trying to fully rebuild and restore. im looking for some front and rear bumpers off an 91 body style for example. hit me up, im new to the forum thing and im looking forward to roll with some people of the same liking. holla.

Find the ABC Pizza shop on US 301 in Riverview. Next door is a little blue shop with a white e30 325i out front (and the back parking lot full of BMW's). Stop in sometime -- I have a ton of connections on e30 parts, although my personal stock has dwindled over the past year or so.
