i think they are pretty low on the kalven scale, i'll see if i can find it for sure on bimmerforums.

just wondering why do you want to know what level the stock one are? if you have one bulb out you should replace both not just one with hid's

oh no. i dont have a 335i. a friend of mine who has a saturn astra ( opel from europe) wants to put an HID kit on his car but didnt want the bluish ones (i believe its the 8k or 10k) i told him about the 6000k hid kit but he said they might be a little too blue for him.

he said he likes the HIDs on the bmw 335i. i would imagine all bmw cars have the same HID kit (maybe).

thats why i was wondering if the bmw 335i is a 5300k or a 6000k.....
jriggs. please do let me know if you find out what it is. thank you for your reply

I always bought 6000K after market anytime I did it because it was the most OEM white IMHO

most OEM hids are 4300k. they are behind a blue tinted projector that makes them look blue. The stock replacement for your 335i is a D1S, anything else may not fit correctly or be shielded differently causing them to either be too bright or too dim. Hope this helps!

they are universal kits, you select your bulb type and its pretty much plug and play.

i think your low beams are H7's
and i think the fogs are the same

look around and double check that though thats just off the top of my head
