Insurance Question?

Okay heres the deal, I have a friend who's wife got an unsecured loan for a motorcycle, and they arent paying insurance on it. Now isnt that somewhat illegal?

Nope, the loan isn't secured by the bike.

In the state of FLorida you do not have to insure a bike if you ride with the proper saftey gear(ie Helmet) and some banks dont require insurance on loan under a certian amount, usually 5K
