Thumbs up New crotchrocket for me too

Information and Specs over on the left pane here.........

http://www.yamaha-motor.com/products...mid=8&iid=3485

My first bike of any kind ever. I was going to get something used and a little less powerful etc for a first bike but with the current deal Yamaha has going its almost cheaper to buy new!

Just going to take my time and be extra cautious learning the bike and take the MSF course ASAP, etc.

$0 down, 3.9% until Jan 2005 and only $39 payment required each month until Jan 2005. No insurance either. Couldn't pass up buying new with this kind of deal.

Used would have meant financing through my credit union to get a decent int rate, but they required full coverage insurance so I decided against this route.

Planning on ordering frame sliders and a steering damper to start with as several people have told me a damper is sorely needed on these new R6's.

After I get comfortable on the bike I'll have to meet up with some of you guys soon
