Default My bike won't start!

I rode it home from work yesterday and parked it. I was leaving for work this morning and it wouldn't start! At first, I thought the morning dew could have had something to do with it, but then I thought about bike getting rain on all the time.

It's getting spark & fuel.
I'll hit the start button and it acts like it wants to start, mainly just stumbles. Every once in awhile, I get a nice little backfire too!
I pulled the plugs, which were a total pain in the ass without the tool kit, and the smell like gas. They are a bit dark, but not soaked in fuel.
I'm thinking thierjust fouled out. My buddy that's going to the motorcycle mechanics school in Orlando told me that if the plugs are fouled, it will not start.

I was curious if you guy's might have something to add for me to look for. Or maybe some of you have had a similar problem.

I ran the battery low trying to start it too. I've had a charger on it the whole time messing with it.
94 CBR 600F2. The guy I bought it from told me that it has a jet kit in it and that they wired the choke so it can't be used. I have a manual on the bike and I tried to start it as if it was flooded and it still did nothing.

Thanks for whatever replys or help you guy's can give me.

I'm gonna pick up some plugs tomorrow.

How could they have fouled out just setting over night?

That's what's confusing me....

Another thing that you can check is to make sure the kickstand sensor is connected and making a good contact. I've see them give some guys hell!!! I just don't remeber if the F2 has one or not. Did your bike turn off when the kickstand was down?

did you get the plugs??? When was the last time you changed them. Sometimes they just get old and don't give off enough spark Or did you leave the gas on while you were doing something? That will foul the plugs.

Well, I charged the battery for about 3 hours, cleaned the shit out of the plugs...didn't want to pay $8 each for them!
Put the plugs back in and it fired right up!
Don't know which was the culprite, but it's solved.

I am aware of the side stand switch...I knew that wasn't it, I had the stand down, but made sure it was in neutral.

What do you mean "Did you leave the gas on while you were doing something?"?

I always leave the gas switch on. Am I suppose to shut it off everynight or if it sits for quite a few hours?
I know that if I don't ride it for a month or longer, it would be best to shut it off, but not just for the night....

Thank you guy's for trying to point me in the right direction! Let me know when you guy's get together to ride, I might join.
