and the S&W M&P 15-22 is an ar-15 but shoots a 22lr round right? everything works on the gun, like the safety and bolt release button. is it accurate how loud is it.

 

Since you guys are knowledgeable about guns i have a quick question. I was thinking of buying an AK-47, but I wanted a Yugoslavian one, would I be making a wrong choice going that route?

 

Yes the 15-22 is a 22LR... Everything is just like a M4 which is what its based off of, only thing it doesnt have is the forward assist... It uses the A2 sights and at 100yds has a 1.5-2in grouping which IMO aint bad for a .22 with iron sights... Its as loud as any other .22 rifle, Just a all around fun gun. I bought it about 2yrs ago when ammo prices were insane as I wanted a M4 series rifle but didnt want to pay 1000$+ and the price of .223/5.56 ammo to go shooting.


Honestly im very happy with my WASR-10 Romanian from Century Arms.... Its one of the cheaper AK's on the market but it is a de-militarized AK, and I have not had one problem with mine with close to 5000 rounds through it.

What do you want a Yugo vs other ones...?

 

yeah its a safety so while holstering it or pulling it out it doesnt fire off. Its pretty simple actually....your finger has to fully depress that little lever before you can pull the trigger...this way if you just snag a corner of the trigger it wont pull.

Springfield Armory took it a step further when they did their knock off of the glock 22...they have that safety trigger...as well as another safety lever on the grip of the gun...you can pull the trigger unless both safeties were depressed on...quite smart....

 

I just like the folding stock on it
