I guess I am just ranting but I will never understand the point of wearing an armor vest but no helmet. I mean seriously do you think you look cool or something? You look like a complete dumbass wearing a vest but no helmet what is the point.

Or how about the dude riding with a helmet but the chick on back has no helmet, shorts, flip flops, and a tank top on. Are you kidding me.

Ever since 50cent came out the bulletproof vest look has been "in".... Shameful its not a "if I crash my bike, it will save my life vest" all well...

 

Next time we have a meet, im wearing my vest as a fashion statement.

i know someone who wrecked with one of those icon vest armor things and it didn't do shit to protect him. broken elbow, really bad belly rash, and some rash on his ribs. once he started sliding the vest just came up to his neck, and left just about his whole upper body exposed to asphalt

 

I don't get it....how though? It's got straps that wrap around your waist...I think I'm going to need to investigate this situation further...

I work with one of those Hardcore Weekend Bikers... Every time he rides his bike in to work, he has to show everyone the New Crap he decides to stick on it. He seriously has way over $3k into mods on a $3k cruiser and it is way to much. So, I tried to tell him what a squid was and he didn't get it... LMAO
