^ you don't like having to haul ass to have fun... that makes me think you wouldn't really like that ride. It's long and mostly boring.

I have to admit though, it's cool seeing those mines.

Ditto.... except for that one corner with the sand. I swear someone eats shit there every time... I've almost done it once or twice.

I'm not going to the mines, thats east towards Lakeland. I'm going South, lots of turns, good speed, usually no traffic.

I know Lakeland is east of us but I could of swarn it was part of the "south" run as I heard it called before.
I'm curious on this route as I heard its not as good as the N run. Lots more straight and not as technical corners. I know only of a few roads in Sarasota.

My biggest issue is the very late start time. Its been getting quite chilly at night time.

I really have no interest in going faster than we do on the N Run. We just about hit triple digits in a few parts, usually kept it around 60mph, thats plenty fast for my liking. Rather take nice twisty turns than 140mph bends.

I have heard the mine roads reffered to as the "south run" also, but that is not the route I'm doing this weekend.

South may not be as "good" in some parts as the north run, but do you really want to do the same roads every ride? Its got enough to keep me happy If you haven't done this exact route, you may be surprised.

The late start, yea I know its odd but I need to be at my house that morning, but I plan on being back to Brandon before dark, where are you?
