EMS is not lucrative at all...with the downfall in the economy...youve got medicaid/medicare not paying as much...less people have health insurance...and there are people out there that just dont pay...let alone getting money from health insurance providers is like pulling teeth from a rabid dog.

We dont get paid per run..or anything of the sort...and i actually get paid pretty well considering what national averages for EMT-Basics are.

i get another raise here soon so my number will go up slightly...then once i finish school ill jumpy up to a little over 16 an hour due to my time in and being a field training officer. So it will work out in time...but yes ems is not a productive business

i rented that place for 600 a month all utilities inclued, it was a one room studio. i was puttng my self though school and didn't have alot of cash. i could have stayed at my mom or dad's but unlike you i didn't want to force my folks to take care of me..and i now have a 2 bedroom 3 story 2.5 car garage place with a pool... what the fuck have you done in your life to think your better then anyone you little shit...
