Default 750 to 1000cc swap

So a friend and I were talking, I have read this swap is petty common now. I found the motor mount kit here
Hybrid Racing - Motor Mount Kits

Now I know I can do it, but what else would I need other then the actuall motor and mounts? Is the wiring harness the same? What about ecu/pcm? Thanks guys

Im assuming you meen your 02 GSXR since you didnt specify what kind of bike... But it would seem like you are trying to cheaply do this swap. All in all call that company and ask. Or go to www.gsxr.com or Suzuki GSX-R Motorcycle Forums: Gixxer.com if you want my thought it I would imagine yes you would have to change the wireharness and ECM.

Im sorry I didnt specify, figured it was obvious of enough for everyone to see. Of course I would like it to be on the cheaper side of things who wouldnt, but I also understand you get what you pay for.

I didnt think the wiring harness's would be much different considering the main difference is inside the motor and probably used the same clips and everything else like most manufactuers do unless it was a different style/year or whatever. The PCM deffiently makes sense, just didnt know if it mattered with a power commander which I should of said outright.

I was gonna join one of them before I posted, but I know how new comers that ask abunch of questions are somewhat annoying so I figured Id ask my TR brothers first

Thanks everyone, but my queston remains the same. Either motor I choose will be built and I would like to have it on the bottle if any of that make a difference
