Thanks guys. The panels have been painted for a couple weeks now, so they should be cured. Just taking forever to wrap things up.

I'd give them at least 2 months. Full cure depends on a LOT of factors, but just to be safe, I say a couple months.

I'm a fan of blue but don't know how well it'd go with the gold rims and white paint combo unless you're thinking of painting the rims next. Sadly I don't know any decal places to recommend since my last paint job came in a can. I've got an air compressor now but finding the time to do it right hasn't been a priority yet

I was thinking I'd wait till my first wax job in a few months to put them on (before waxing of course).

Definitely keeping the wheels gold. It was hard to get my hands on them. I want to get my black wheels powdercoated (or maybe sprayed) white. I always wanted a white on white bike until I saw the raven r6's with the gold wheels and was like hmmmm.

The picture I paint in my head with my imagination brush I don't see a problem with the white/gold/blue. I think it'll look ok? Haha. Like I said, I'll just see what happens as far as the decals go, I can go either way them: yes or no.

white on white thats fuckin ross. imo i hate decals, hence why my bike was decal free, much more cleaner and keeps people guessing (a lot of people thought my bike was a zx10). blue/white/gold just doesnt strike an interest to me it seems like it would be to many different colors. now if you were to do white/gold-rims/decals i could dig that.

I agree the gold rims are hot, as much as I'm a fan of blue black decals would line up nicely with the seat, forks, swingarm, etc that's already black on the bike. I keep thinking the white, blue, gold is some team colors but I can't quite place it. It's your bike of course, just my .02

You can go into the photo and graphics forum here and probably get someone to mock it up for you however you're looking into it. Some people in there just want the practice on photoshop. Just make sure to give them a decent picture to work with like a straight profile image and sharper than the one there if you can. I'm guessing camera phone.

But yeah, the plan is to paint my black wheels white and use them for track days.

As far as decal color choice...IF i do them, the options on the table were dark blue, gold and black.

Gold would be sweet but then there's the issue of color matching (tried this with the rearsets and passenger pegs once already and gave up for black haha). Also, not sure how well gold would..."pop"...on white.

Can't go wrong with black, but maybe too bland? Yeah it'll align with the other black parts on the bike...

And dark blue will match my frame sliders and my helmet (which is blue/white/black) and also happens to be my favorite color (if I didn't paint the bike white it'd have been a dark blue...I really like the toyota dark blue).

So I'm going to drop my rearsets, passenger pegs, and bar ends off at the coater today. Should I drop the frame sliders off and have them done white? Or I could just buy new pucks in a new flavor, they're about 60 bucks.

Spiegler LSL Frame Sliders
