So looking for another bike I've been hitting up local places that have used ones. A friend suggested them since he lives around the corner and always sees tons of street bikes there. He saw a few cruisers the other day and said I should check it out.

First bike I looked at was a '05 Sportster.....42,348 and they wanted $5,500. The guy stated it was average mileage.

I look around and see most bikes are 6 years or older and look like they've been ridden pretty hard. And for a few grand more than asking price you could get a new one.

The biggest laugh of the day was when I asked about their in house financing for shits and giggles. 50% down and weekly payments to include a high interest rate. I didn't know Bond Auto sales got into bikes.

Time to venture to the other side of the bay to see what they have to offer.

 

that place is a rip off and from what i saw all thier bikes were junked up, like dropped or high miles salvaged, shit like that and they fix a coupe of the parts that broke when who ever wrecked them and try and sell it like new, telling you stories about how the bikes were owned by old ladies with cancer who barely rode it and never beat on it..

and their financing was ridicules, i think they offered my friend like 19% with 1/2 down + like 800 to get the bike out the door with dealer fees and shit.. they only wanted $4400 for the bike and after adding up there bullshit they so how wanted him to pay close to 7k

idk they're great on prices when it comes to scooters. but everything else is crazy.

I do actually, Im up in Tally but found a sv650 on craigslist that they were selling. It only has like 1,600 miles and the price was about average for what Ive been able to find any other sv for. Could it really be that bad?

 

from what i saw they only bought bikes that were dropped or had shit wrong with them, they have there shop their fix it good enough to sell, i fell like they were lieing about everything while i was there.. if you plan on buying a bike out right i would buy from someone else and if you have to finance i would try to get a loan or something else where...
